Richmond BJJ began at the beginning of 2002 in Richmond, VA. Head instructor, Eric Burdo is a brown belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and certified under Julio Fernandez. Mr. Fernandez is a fifth-degree black belt under Carlson Gracie, Sr. Mr. Fernandez has honored Eric with the opportunity to teach the art of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in the Richmond area, under the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu United States Association (BJJUSA). Richmond Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is also an official school of the BJJ Revolution Team.
